Transform
As a candidate with a tech background, I know the ins and outs of the industry. I plan to work closely with agency leaders to ensure they have a fresh technology stack that can keep up with operations. Increasing government efficiency can be as easy as implementing equipment that can work with our civil servants, rather than against them. There are cost effective solutions that will bring our agencies not just into the present, but into the future, and will enable us to handle more for the benefit of you, our citizens, while making the lives of our government employees less stressful. It's a true win win.
Target
By visiting each of our constituent agencies and understanding current pain points, we will develop a plan to prioritize immediate needs, hopefully showing improvement in a matter of months, not years. Organization to organization this could look very different. An updated internet circuit here, new laptops there. I'm the guy that can recognize and address the needs at hand in this field.
Track
We will strive to increase cyber security to modern standards wherever it isn't up to snuff. Our government institutions shouldn't be under constant threat of ransomware, malware, or even data extraction by internal malicious actors (I have faith in our civil servants, but you never know). A Department of Health cyber attack as recently as the middle of 2024, and attacks on our power grids in late 2023, illustrate the grave need for a full security audit of our facilities.
